Welcome to New Siam |
| |
In 1984, we opened the original
“Siam Guest House” on the corner of Khaosan road. Although the rooms were very small,
we kept them clean and neat and we were always friendly and helpful with the guests. Our guest house
built a good reputation and become very popular. Eventually we were able to open a nicer guest house,
at a quieter location behind the Chanasongkram Temple, which we then called the New Siam Guest House
and we now call New Siam I. Over the years, our reputation has grown further and we now have four guest houses, called
New Siam I, New Saim II, New Siam III and New Siam Riverside.
All of our guest houses are still kept very clean and are relatively quiet and we still provide friendly and helpful service.

These guest houses
are all located between the Chanasongkram Temple and the Chaophraya River. This is a convenient
location, as it is in the heart of the Old City and so it is near many important attractions
including the Grand Palace and Wat Phrakaew (the Temple of the Emerald Buddha), Wat Pho (with the
great reclining Buddha), Wat Arun (the Temple of Dawn), Thammasat University, the National Museum
and the National Theater.

NEW SIAM RIVERSIDE

New Siam Riverside is our finest guest house. It lies directly beside the Chaophraya River and the riverside rooms offer a wonderful view. There are double rooms (each with a double bed) and twin rooms (each with two single beds), and an extra bed can be provided upon request. All the rooms are beautiful with hardwood floors and teak-wood furniture and a large window. The rooms are very clean and bright and have air-conditioning and a private bathroom with a hot shower. Each room is equipped with cable television, a safe, a refrigerator, and a keycard lock. On the ground floor, there is a lounge and a swimming pool. A restaurant is currently under construction. Until it is completed, guests may order food which is then prepared and delivered from New Siam II Guest House.

Standard Room
- A double or twin room with air-conditioning and a private bathroom (with a hot shower) costs THB1,390/night/room.
Riverview Room
- A double or twin room with a view of the river, with air-conditioning and a private bathroom (with a hot shower) costs THB1,890/night/room.
Large Standard Room (on the 2nd Floor)
- A larger double or twin room with air-conditioning and a private bathroom (with a hot shower) costs THB1,450/night/room.
Deluxe Riverview Room (with balcony on the 2nd Floor)
- A deluxe double or twin room with a view of the river, with air-conditioning and a private bathroom (with a bath tub and hot water) costs THB2,290/night/room.
